Happy mother’s day.  In our home we don’t take a lot of pictures, and my mother doesn’t like to be in front of the camera, so this was the best photo I could find of her.  I think it’s appropriate though, because she looks like a mom.  Well, a grandmother technically.  But one of her biggest roles as a mother right now is to be the grandmother to her daughter’s children.  She’s a good one.  They adore her.  In addition to not taking many pictures in our family, we’re also not the most sentimental.  My mom laughs when we call to say happy mother’s day.  But in a loving way :)  I’m very grateful for my mother, and I’m grateful to have her so close for this period in my life!
